Helpful Definitions:

  • Kingdom of God: God’s reign through God’s people over God’s place. 
  • Dwelling: God’s presence with humanity in the world that He created. The story of the Bible is “God with us.”
  • Dominion: God’s creation of the world and his command to humanity to extend his glory to all of creation. Dominion relates to the place (Eden/Earth/Kingdom) and the task (Cultural mandate/discipleship) of God’s people.
  • Dynasty: The crowning achievement of God’s creation is a people that will reign and rule with God as His vice-regents, or representatives on earth.
  • Sovereign: He has the authority to use His power.
