In part four of a four-part series, we discuss one of the Babes in the Wood murders, aptly named after a story written in 1595.   Gary Hanlon and Susan Blatchford went out to play for an hour before dinner, but when the two friends didn’t return, their parents began to worry.   After weeks spent missing, they are finally found.   Police believed that the children died from the cold, but their families were convinced that the two children were murdered.   In the end, the death of another young girl would finally lead police to their killer.
