In 1978 a body was found in Lyon County Iowa, she would remain a Jane Doe until 2006 when her finger prints were finally matched up and she was identified as 23 year old Wilma June Nissen. Wilma had a very troubled upbringing and after ultimately being pulled out of her neglectful fathers home she would end up in foster care, struggling with becoming a teenager and her past, Wilma would end up turning to sex work as a means to make money. After a series of marriages she ended in South Dakota working for an escort service, which would ultimately lead her to being killed and her remains discovered in Iowa. Wilma’s biological daughter Krissi now leads the fight into getting justice for her mom. And in an unusual twist we actually have a picture of the suspect, what we need now is someone willing to come forward with what they know about Wilma’s death.
