Desiree, whose life's story embodies resilience, compassion, and grief, is a successful businesswoman and a devoted mother on a journey of self-discovery, seeking what truly brings her joy.

When the world shut down due to COVID, she became the therapist, educator, and nurturer for her son while homeschooling her other two daughters. Despite sleepless nights and exhaustion, she persevered with a strong desire to 'fix' her 7 year old son Asher who at point had become nonverbal.

Then one day, she realized that her struggles were affecting her family. To break the cycle, she decided to embrace her son as he was, seeing him as perfect as he was created, in his unique way. This marked the beginning of her healing journey, where she learned to let go of her fear of the future and fully appreciate her son's uniqueness and the joy he brought to their lives.

Today, she shares her insights by coaching other mothers with special needs and medically compromised children, helping them find joy while acknowledging their grief. She is also preparing to launch a supportive community for these courageous moms and her own podcast.
