As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Melanie helps her clients work through challenges in a safe environment so they can thrive organically. Since being certified as an Anger Management Specialist II, completing training for Domestic Violence Abusers and Victims, and earning a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Melanie has helped her clients identify poor coping skills, counterproductive behaviors, and unchallenged perspectives. She has combined research, training, certifications, and the best practices to work with clients holistically from a bio-psycho-social approach. She uses evidence-based training and theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Brief Therapy to assist clients in changing the course of their lives.
