Jonny, Ph.D., C.N.S., is a nationally known weight loss and nutrition expert. He is also the author of the book Dr Fitness recommends to all his friends "150 Healthiest Foods on Earth." Jonny is always making the rounds in the media and was recently a guest on Dr Oz's radio show. He also has been featured in the New York Times, Time Magazine, GQ and Prevention. In his new book Jonny focuses on natural cures, revealing the best of alternative medicine for a mainstream audience. Don't confuse this book with a more scammy similarly named book. Jonny has done his homework. I'm talking thorough extensive research. The book digs into over 75 common conditions, including allergies, cancer, high cholesterol, depression, diabetes, hypertension, menopause, and stress. Here's his PMS cocktail to help alleviate some of those PMS symptoms. Twice a day 10 days before your cycle try these 3 supplements 1) 50 mg of B6 2) 400 mg of magnesium and 3) 1000mg of Evening of Primrose. Within 2 cycles you should notice an improvement. This book is a Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy recommendation. Please check out his website www.jonnybowden.com to order the book and get more information.

We also had on Fred Hahn, author of the best selling book The Slow Burn Fitness Revolution. Slow Burn exercise stimulates positive adaptations to every aspect of your body including the cardiovascular system. Once stimulated, the body needs time, roughly 48-96 hours, to produce the benefits. Science indicates that if the quality of an exercise program is high, 2 sessions a week of exercise is more than adequate to cause optimal positive results. More than three sessions produces little added physical benefits. Remember, exercise itself doesn't make you "fit" or healthy. In fact it is sort of a necessary evil. The body becomes healthier if the exercise stimulus is adequate and if rest and recovery is allowed for. Quality not quantity is the key. That's why you can get such a great productive effective work out in such a short time.

Fred also talked about his upcoming new book about Childhood Obesity. He feels that eating too much sugar is a big part of the problem. For more information about Fred and his Slow Burn technique please go to his website www.seriousstrength.com And finally our last guest this evening was Goddess Life founder and Belly Dancer extraordinaire Dolphina. Her work has been featured in over 100 magazines and numerous television shows including Sex in the City and The View.

Women responded to The Goddess Workout DVD by proclaiming it more than just bellydance, but a lifestyle. So, in early 2001, Dolphina founded her company, GoddessLife , on the belief that every woman is a goddess.

Her first book, Bellydance was published in 2005 and she continues to grow her network of goddesses worldwide by offering workshops at destination spas and in California and Hawaii.

In January 2008, Dolphina introduced glamour to the Goddess Workout DVD series with Cardio Burlesque. For more information please check out her website www.goddesslife.com or www.dolphina.com</
