On tonight's show Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy learn all about how to connect with your inner truth so that you can release emotional barriers and energy blocks that cause pain and disease from author, blogger, speaker Deborah King. Deborah explained how illnesses of body, mind, and spirit are expressions of a personal imbalance with the truth.
Deborah said "To many, it's a radical notion, but I have witnessed countless healings in people who were simply willing, finally, to face the truth about something in their lives."
She is the author of Truth Heals: What You Hide Can Hurt You (available early 2009). She is also a health & wellness expert, attorney, frequent TV commentator, national keynote speaker, and a “healer to the stars.” You can also find her as regular blogger for The Huffington Post.
As a young attorney and hotel developer, Deborah suffered from a host of emotional and medical problems, culminating with cancer in her twenties. Her amazing recovery led her to leave the corporate arena for the alternative medical field, where she mastered ancient and modern healing systems and ultimately developed a powerful technique of her own. She is trained to address both the mind and the body’s health and disease processes (unlike a psychologist, who is restricted to the mind) and makes frequent appearances on national news and entertainment programs.
Deborah guides thousands to recovery through her public appearances, workshops, and her writings. She invites you to experience the dynamic principles of how truth heals by going to her website www.deborahkingcenter.com.We started the show with good friend Matt Bryzcki, author of Youth Fitness: An Action Plan for Shaping America's Kids. Matt is the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation at Princeton University and has over 25 years experience at the collegiate level as a coach, instructor and administrator. Tonight he talked about the importance of doing each repetition in your strength training workout with good form and energy. He also had some great tips to help you choose your next personal trainer.
We were also joined by regulars Kathy and Fletcher Newbern who just got back to the United States in order to give us their Spa Report. They shared all kinds of stories about their recent, almost 3 week long, trip to the Maldive Islands. The are travel writers who are fortunate enough to spend their days enjoying the most exotic and fabulous destinations aroloading...
