I spoke with Linda Stewart Nov 9, 2019 and we discussed how things are different between North America and France as far as our food and our processes surrounding intuitive eating and our cultural differences. We also discussed how books can be part of our intuitive process and how every single thing in our past builds on top of itself to bring us to our purpose or our destiny potentially to help us gather what we need to do what it is we are to do for the world.

Linda's Bio

I have been working in the field of fitness and wellness since 1980 after the realization that I could remake my life . Since then the fitness industry has evolved with a  professional development path and certifications and through continual education I have attained certifications as a group fitness instructor, with specialities in boxing, rowing, aqua fitness, step, strength training and circuit classes.  In addition, I am a Certified Personal Trainer and qualified to teach both yoga, and pilates.

I  completed two years of education in the Athletic Therapy program at Sheridan College in Ontario and successfully completed the course work and on site practical experience. I provided athletic therapy field care to a variety of sport teams including: football, hockey and lacrosse. As a result of these experiences I have insight into injuries, their assessment and rehabilitation as well as how to modify activities to suit recovery and develop fitness.

I have worked with YM/YWCA of Canada, a municipality, private fitness facilities and as a contractor however, my favourite work experience was as the Fitness and Wellness Co-ordinator for McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. During my seven years at McMaster, I had the pleasure of training and evaluating fitness leaders and personal trainers as they prepared for their Certifications. One of the most significant accomplishments while at McMaster was the development and implementation of the Pulse Fitness Centre. As part of the Athletics and Recreation team, I played an instrumental role in this achievement including equipment selection, hiring and training a staff of over one hundred – fitness leaders, personal trainers and front desk staff. I also developed and taught a second year academic practicum course, focused on personal training and adult communication to over two hundred undergraduate students each year.
